According to the Scotsman, Gary McKinnon lost his appeal against being extradicted to the United States to stand trial for hacking several U.S. government databases and is en route to stand trial.

According to the Canadian, it’s possible. They believe that “exoscience” or the study of Extraterrestrials is the inspiration for the series.
They say one of the most prominent similarities is the “Galactic Federation of Planets” governed by “constitutionalism” but differs in that Earth is the political center of the universe whereas Earth in Exoscience is outside of the planet federation.

Here’s the first UFO hacker update we’ve had in a long time. This week, Gary McKinnon, the famed “UFO Hacker,” is fighting his extradition to the U.S.
According to the Tech section of Monsters and Critics.com, McKinnon filed an appeal in the London High Court to prevent authorities from bringing him to the U.S. to stand trial for hacking into U.S. government computer systems. The hearing for the appeal started on Wednesday.
McKinnon claims he hacked into government systems in order to find proof of the existence of UFOs and that government agencies have not only been keeping it secret, but also utilizing its technologies without the public’s knowledge. Click here to read our ongoing covering of the UFO Hacker’s story.
Former President Gerald Ford passed away this week at 93. But a quick jump in our time machine revealed his connection to the UFO world in the wake of his tragic passing.
According to UFO.About.com, the former president said when he was a Congressman in 1966 that a wave of sightings in Michigan could be “swamp gas.”
He also called for a firm explanation that the U.S. Air Force had provided the public so far and recommended a committee to investigate the sightings saying, “I think we owe it to the people to establish credibility regarding UFOs, and to produce the greatest possible enlightenment of the subject.”
